This is the perfect course for this price point. Design is amazing. Pace of play was good for how many people were on the course. This is the essence of what municipal golf should be.

Really nice and cool course designed by Donald Ross. We stayed 10 minutes away from there from Durham NC and it was a good course. The greens were pretty and fairways were nice as well. The green fee was around $40 each which was good. Shot a 83 there which wasn’t bad. About average for me as well. Great course!!!

Can't say enough about our local Muni. Donald Ross loves his sand. Avoid the bunkers and you'll have a fun round regardless of the time of year. Open holes with many high handicappers able to navigate the course without losing a single ball. The course just completed renovation of the clubhouse and resodded the heavily used gold tee boxes. With a combo tee card at about 5900 and white tees at just under 6400 yards, there is a test for low/mid handicappers of all types.

A little patchy but a lot of fun. Friendly locals and laid back atmosphere. Would recommend. Can't beat the rates. UPDATE 7/22/22: still good, greens just aerated but good course and a lot of fun.

Course looked to be in nice condition. Was told pace of play is 2 hours/ 9hes then it took over 1 hour to play 2 holes. Way over booked.

Absolute trash treatment. Course is nice though. New to area. Played a couple times. Online booking is impossible as it is constantly full of locals but course is never packed. Was told as a single I could basically walk on if I just show up & get in a group. Showed up at sunrise today only to be told I can’t play for a few hours (no one on the course, also no one working) told then after waiting hours in a lot that I can’t walk on, and they are punching the greens that afternoon. I will NEVER return

The check in marshal with the white hair behaved extremely inappropriately. He took one look at me and my friends and started trying to kick us off the course because we were young, he failed when he couldn’t strong arm us from teeing off. But after our tee shots he came back up to us and refused to let us play, “Im not going to sit by and watch this all day”, because we had a beginner playing with us, told us we could get refunds, however I had already thrown the receipt out and so was refused a refund. Atrocious customer service, inflexible staff, the situation was so poorly handled I couldn’t imagine this happening on any respectable golf course. DO NOT give them your business, they don’t deserve it.
